Maybe, just maybe crazy gun toting people should avoid the malls.
I understand that some people want to feel as if they are safe, everywhere they go.
But I don’t want to be patted down every time I’m shopping at the mall, just because I forgot to empty my coin purse, or my belt buckle is metal.

it may be a good Idea to have security guards and cameras, but I think it would be very difficult to implement metal detectors, as most people if not all, would have some form of metal on them ie, keys, studs in jeans, zippers, metal buttons etc..you would have very empty Malls if that happened

LOL, the world in a handbasket. What would be easier? Preventing the problem that creates the problem people or putting metal detectors in every mall, school, store or ANY public enterance in America. Have xray machines like in the movie total recall.
You can go ahead and give away all your freedoms and rights but you will not stop the problem.

Yes, I went to Meadow hall (Sheffield) yesterday and I was thinking how easy it would be for some nutcase to take in a bomb or knives. In this day and age it is better to be safe than sorry especially when there are hundreds of people all in the same place.They are just sitting ducks. I agree with you .
