What’s in my bag that always causes metal detectors to go off?

Cell phones have been known to set off the anti-theft alarms, and has happened to me numerous times.

usually those just detect items in the store that havent been rung in. and cell phones can set off things like those too.

if u have a pair of glasses, that would probably do it.

These are not metal detectors but radio tag detectors otherwise they would go of for belt buckles etc

Library books are a common cause that still have the tags attached. Go through your bag cuz it may be that something has a tag on it that has not been deactivated.

well it could be alot of things a phone a charm of some sort also sometimes it could be the bag itself if it has chains or buckles on it.

Maybe you should check your bag for those white plactic security tags. Or its your cell phone.
