		<description>No, a nose ring will not set it off.  I was in the airport the other day and watched someone with a lot of piercings get through security without the alarm going off, so you should not have any worries.</description>

		<description>Little amounts like studs and nose rings shouldn&#039;t, plus it&#039;s visible and harmless. So I don&#039;t see any reason why they&#039;d make you take it out or even try to make you take it out.</description>

		<description>I travel ALL the time and my wedding ring and engagement ring NEVER set off metal detectors.  As long as your nose ring has no more metal than a wedding ring, and if it did, I&#039;d think it would pull off your nose, then you should be fine.  
The few times I&#039;ve been &quot;wanded&quot;, they stop at things like my watch and rings and do not make me remove them.</description>
