Metal Detecting is great, but good luck finding a place to do it has been a problem for me?

I live in Northeast Philadelphia, and I am interested in metal detecting. When I was young, I couldn’t drive anywhere and metal detecting is forbidden in places like parks and school playgrounds. As I am older now, and I can drive anywhere, please advise on where I can find places to metal detect in the tri-state area. Thanks.
